A Star in the Dark Sky...

How do I compare me to a star?
We both have our nights alike,
Sleepless, thinking about them,
Who sleep tranquil, beneath!

Our eyes never lock at night, and
We see everyone in their tender sleep.
Our eyes never blink in exhaust, but
None detects it under their sun.

Out of sight, out of mind, and
We don’t want to leave ’em behind.
So we both have eyes open on ’em,
Even while they live under their sun.

It’s dark around; I’m not their sun,
Just a star; but will keep on burning,
With the light from the Eternal Sun, for
Someone may get some light, though little.

Butterfly's Wings

We loved each other fervently,
For love was the end in itself,
She found herself in my love,
And me myself in her love.

Love, the passion we call within,
Took its course and we were led,
When the path came to diverge,
She chose one, and me another!

Life is like a long road, which
Has its divergence at every nook,
We are what we choose to ride, and
No path leads to the starting point!

Shall I compare me to a bird,
That can’t live without its wings.
Love is the wing, I’m crippled of,
Yet, I want to fly, far and wide!

Love, for a girl, is like lizard’s tail,
It mushrooms overnight, past is behind,
But for a boy, it’s a butterfly’s aileron,
It sprouts never again, it lives just to die!

Being Happy

Just like the kite floating up so high You often see me floating in the sky You wonder what keeps me so gay "He is always so jovial,...
