Solitary Wanderer

I’m walking my lone lane,
Waiting for none to join,
As I know it be in vain.
And I take a turn only I enjoin.

I’m like the rolling stone,
That sticks no bills on its way.
I hum a song on my way, atone
With the ‘sound and fury’ of my day!

Call me stranger, for you know not,
The weird, forlorn paths I walked.
Condemn me not, for you walked not,
The miles and miles I just stalked.

I’m but a solitary wanderer,
Who knows not, where he’s to reach.
I’m another unknown adventurer,
Exploring the lessons, life’s still to teach.

Epilogue:
Dark are the paths we walk;
Night – the time we’re in trouble,
The times we search one to talk,
Yet we find us but in rubble.

Strolling the paths of thorns and stones,
Fighting with the heat of the flaming sun,
Finding their skin closest to their bones,
Travelers seek for help, but find none!
