The driver of my engine

I plead dear, not for your presence,
But for your intense absence in me!
For, I know, in your absence
Is my heart fonder to you!

I've not your presence, but your memory
Which is more passionate to the life I have.
You drive my life forward, from distance,
My engine moves on track toward you.

I'm no human, but a machine;
Actions driven by your absence.
You're the driver of my engine,
You're the reason of my feelings.

Feelings - they're strong but sweet;
The remains of your presence.
I own not you, but your absence,
I marry not you, but your absence.
