In my mind's lonely journeys,
Dreams fly with wings of fantasy.
They take me to lands unexplored,
They adorn me with crowns of emperors.
Life's day, but I love my nights,
If they lead me to my dreamland.
I feel safe; I rule ov'r here.
Who don't want to rule some lands?
The play is on; it must go on.
The light on stage conquers dark lands around.
I belong to the day within my dark nights.
I shine here as a lonely star on sky.
I hate sun, its wild rays and light;
But nights - they make me calm angel.
Beasts within me look for light; but
Me within me desire sacred nights.
Within my nights, I find my lights -
Hope for day, that makes me calm.
I wish for light at dawn of the day;
But my night itself has lights within.
