God, not your boss!

God is always right, not your boss.
Fear your God, for He is your boss.
Trust, He’s the One and the only One,
Who knows your what, where and why
Who knows and shows your how, and
Who knows your past, present and future.
Why fear man who can kill your body,
Yet can’t touch your soul, that’s the logic!
So I tell you, fear your God and trust in Him
Praise Him, worship Him, and trust in Him!

We Shall Overcome!

Roads will soon, for sure, be busy again,
With long queues of school buses heading home.
Corridors will see the hustle and bustle again,
Of the buzzing bees, around their honeycomb.
Campus will turn to fruitful orchards again,
For our beautiful birds, singing to their Gnome.

Can the spring be this harsh ever again?
Can this virus, forever, lock us down at home?

The locked gates will soon, for sure, open again,
Butterflies will start fluttering, with ‘no syndrome’.
Rainbows, in the school garden, will arise again.
Storms can’t blast our flower-buds, ‘staying home’.
We, the gardeners, will stay strong against the storm
For our buds, till they bloom, in school or at home.

Learn Your Lessons

Your life is but tinier than a virus today,
And the world, much smaller than a home.
Yet you think you’re the designer of the earth,
That was made by the Word, ages and ages ago.
Where were you when its foundations were laid?
Did your parents see its pillars being constructed?
Or your great forefathers carry its stones and bricks?
Who prophesied you’re inevitable and imperishable?
Are you greater than the tiny virus that kills millions?
Are you stronger than those who succumbed to death?
Learn from the millions that speak words of wisdom,
That reached their brains as late as they were dying,
“You’re not the master of the universe that holds you;
You’re just a traveler, and this world your lodging.”

Walking the Thin Line

Walking along this narrow, thin line,
I make my broadways to success.
Be it work or life, I love being myself,
This is my way, this is my only way.
And walking along this line isn’t easy,
For ones who aren’t trained in fire and
Cast in iron; over the years, I’ve done it.
Hard is the route and harsh is the treat,
Yet, if not ready to yield, you’ll learn to stand.
Success, call it for thyself, why care about others;
Let them dwell in world of theirs, let them live.
Life’s what you make and success what you get.
If you’re happy, who can take it away from you,
So smile your heart out, for it’s your way to success.

Quarantined!!!

All your life was but your training
To live these days of quarantine.
Yet when it’s actually required today,
You’re not in a position to do it at all.

Quarantined, most of your young days,
Away from friends and loved ones,
Most of your past was self-imposed
To this state of being a lone traveler.

Quarantined, when it was most required
To socialize to make friends and your love
You called yourself lonely, isolated self,
All you craved was love and more love.

Quarantined, when you hated the feeling
Of being away from love you sought for.
Quarantined, when you wanted to mingle,
And again when you were alone and single.

Quarantined, they can’t stay a moment,
Although it’s for their own good days.
They go out to socialize, come back beaten
Crying for the closed doors of connection.

Quarantined, many everywhere unwillingly do,
Yet you can’t practice what yourself trained for.
Because you got a lovely family that won’t
Let you stay alone, but surround you with love.

Bon Voyage, Son

Are you so young and yet so bemused?
Are you so skilled and yet be a fiasco?
Are you so passionate, yet lack the fire?
Are you so positive, yet feel dejected?
If you're ever one of that, I'm your kin
For I am all you are, and we are but one.

Sorry, you read me wrong, I'm the happiest!
Happiest ever lived, living, or ever will.
I'm so happy because I love being myself,
Love my life, with all of its sound and fury.

Are you so desolate, yet can smile your heart?
Are you desperate, yet can speak to your soul?
Are you going awry, yet can hope for the best?
Are you lost in gloom, yet make your happy abode?
If you can, and do it well, I'm your dad, the master
For you're my conception. Fare thee well, son!

Wake me Not!

Wake me not, please, I can't stand it!
Let me live in this dream of mine!
Love this feel, love the taste of it.
'T's what I want, more than just fine!

Days are bright, yet I love my nights.
Reality calls, yet love my dreams.
Spark is back, time to reach the heights,
Setting ablaze from my least gleams.

Invigilation Duty 😄

Moments of invigilation
Make my mind slip into lands that
For ages, I’ve been building up,
Deep in my mind, where I’m the king.

Moments of imagination
Trace towards me, like cool breeze that
Touches my soul, through the lock’d-up
Doors of my heart, to rear anoth’r wing.

Moments of my liberation
I create, from the slav’ry that
They think so ‘noble’ a lockup,
Dear ones create for us to cling.

Moments of self-realization
I attain, with both my wings that
Take me to lands, that shape me up,
Delight’d so, once again I sing.

Being Happy

Just like the kite floating up so high You often see me floating in the sky You wonder what keeps me so gay "He is always so jovial,...
